Comparative Religion, Metaphysics & Cryptid Symbolism on 'Mind Escape'

Recently, after Black Hoodie Alchemy has been slimmed down to two longer episodes a month instead of one hour every week, I was able to jump back on the philosophy podcast Mind Escape, hosted by my good friend Mike Mazzei.

In this chat, I give a little bit of a variety as I tell my anomalous auditory Sasquatch encounter, something I can only describe as a "poltergeist of the wilderness," and less of a hairy hominid; I get into the idea that all unexplainable phenomena might just be the continuation of the collective consciousness' inner mythology being projected outward; the historical symbolism and mystical nature of the wilderness itself; and I even get into the history and practice of Voodoo and Santa Muerte a bit as a teaser for upcoming Black Hoodie Alchemy episodesl

  1. Muslims see dating as a meaningful introduction to marriage, not as a casual pursuit. Marriage is considered a deeply spiritual and binding act. The emphasis is always on building a faithful family. Kazan echoes these values while maintaining cultural diversity.
